Capital Restaurant in Chinatown is a true gem. The prices are super reasonable, and the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. The food is always delicious, made with great quality, and the service is consistently attentive. Their famous chicken wings are an absolute must-try—crispy, flavorful, and absolutely addictive! Whether you’re dining in or taking out, you can always count on a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

I ordered take out from the cashier and both ladies were very friendly. Sitting there waiting for my order, I realised that this was a very popular and established Chinese restaurant in the area. Lots of asian customers for take out and dine in and a good number of local diners. I had a simple shrimp fried rice and fujian egg tofu for takeaway and eating it 12 hours later, I was shocked to taste superb home cooking as an Asian dude. Totally wolfed down the food to the last bits. The tofu was very savoury and the fired rice would probably taste even much better had I ate there. The portions were huge and the packaging used extremely hardy and lasted through water condensation. Definitely my favourite take out place as the dining in experience is defintely better at the R&G lounge.

Perfect food and super authentic feel for cantonese options. Definitely recommend the beef chow mein! Can't get enough, and the beef just melts in your mouth with a lovely sear with perfectly salted and flavoured noodles. will also add the vegetables are cooked perfectly every time.

Had to go to Capital for the best wings in San Francisco! For those who have a peanut allergy, sadly we cannot eat them, they are fried in the same oil as peanut items, but my fiance did eat them and said they were delicious! He said they had a peanut taste to them, and the salt and hot pepper was the perfect seasoning for the juicy chicken! The portion size is huge for an appetizer, it could be a meal size! They also give you oolong tea with your meal which was delicious and the perfect temperature after being out in the wind!

Fantastic service and outstanding food! The chicken wings are a must-try, perfectly golden brown with an irresistibly crispy exterior that gives way to juicy, tender meat inside. Every bite is packed with flavor and crunch. The Steamed Pork with Mushroom and Chinese Sausage transported me straight back to Canton China. The savory aroma of the sausage, the natural sweetness of the mushrooms, and the well seasoned pork come together in a wonderful balanced dish. Celebrating Father’s Day at the Capital Restaurant was absolutely worth the trip. Lots of parking near by parking structures.

The steam fish with bean curd is so delicious! As well as the oyster egg pancakes and the sour and spicy soup. Everything is delicious! A fulfilling meal after long day of work. Feels like coming back home. The service is great too, waiters are super friendly I will definitely come back again!

After you're seated, you're provided with complentary green tea. They have a very large menu. Can do family style meals or just do lunch/dinner combo. Didnt take long for our orders to be taken and for food to come out. I really enjoyed their fried chicken wings. It was airy crispy, moist, and had simplified flavor of salt and pepper. The jalapeno peppers complemented well. Others weren't super impressed with it and wished it had come with a dipping sauce. I also had the garlic Chinese broccoli, and that was tasty as well.
